• memento

  • my favourite Nolan movie so far. it’s not a “big” production, and there’s only a couple of sets. i really liked the vibe of the whole movie, soundtrack, and the monologue scenes, often times it felt like video game cutscenes. it really reminded me of point-and-click adventure games for some reason. very enjoyable watch.

• mr. nobody (2009)

  • this is a weird one. the concept of the movie is cool and i like the plot. the execution itself is questionable, i liked the idea of the “future” scenes, but its just poorly executed. and well jared leto’s performance as old nemo didn’t help at all. but i cry every time i watch this one. interesting concept that gives you a lot to think about. simple soundtrack that carries the emotional weight of the movie very well.
